Cyfluence Research Center gGmbH is committed to promoting gender equality, diversity, and inclusion as core organisational values and prerequisites for research excellence. This commitment is formalised in a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) developed in line with Article 19 of the Horizon Europe Regulation.
Governance and Resources
The organisation has appointed a Gender Equality and Inclusion Officer (Leiv Schink), who reports to the Director and the Research Director. 10% of the officers’ working time is dedicated to gender equality and inclusion activities.
Key Measures:
Cyfluence Research Center gGmbH implements proportionate and effective measures, including:

Collection and annual review of gender-disaggregated data on staff, recruitment, and leadership

Annual training on gender equality, gender bias in recruitment, and the prevention of sexual harassment.

Measures supporting work–life balance, such as flexible working hours, remote/hybrid work, the right to disconnect, and family-friendly meeting schedules

Targets and transparent procedures to improve gender balance in leadership and decision-making.

A zero-tolerance approach to gender-based violence and sexual harassment, including clear reporting and confidential handling.
